We are- Mountain Roots

Colorado is home for us—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re endlessly inspired by the landscapes, the light, and the people here, but what really drives us is a shared love for exploration and adventure. That curiosity has taken us everywhere from easygoing afternoons by the river in Palisade to windswept, cold beaches in Alaska—and we’re always excited to see where the next story leads.

We genuinely love what we do. Photographing people’s lives—big milestones, quiet moments, and everything in between—is incredibly rewarding, and it’s something we’ve never once regretted saying yes to. Every session brings a new perspective, a new connection, and a chance to create something meaningful alongside the people we work with.

As artists, photographers, and lifelong learners, we’re always growing and refining what it means to be part of a creative community. Over time, that community has expanded far beyond just images—it’s become relationships, shared experiences, and the trust people place in us to document times that matter. Getting to know our clients, laughing with them, and helping them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera is one of the best parts of this career!
