Frequently - Asked - Questions
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! We have traveled for several weddings and we really enjoy adventuring. We've gone to Homer-Alaska, Destin-Florida, Palisade-Colorado, Paonia-Colorado... even Geneva-Switzerland. If you want to have an adventure wedding somewhere, send us an email and we might be able to offer a special deal :)
Can I extend the session on the day of?
You bet. We're flexible. We are generally contracted for 6-8 hours, but often times clients will ask us to show up early or stay one or more hours late on the day of the wedding. We're committed to being available on your wedding day, whether you end up wanting additional time or not.
Will there be a second shooter?
You know it! We always have 2 photographers to capture every special moment from each of our unique perspectives. We're both artists, who went to school to be artists. While we both have a unique perspective and artistic voice, we work exclusively as a team while photographing weddings.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope. We felt that it was important to offer our clients and their families a fast and reliable way to order prints if they wanted it. We utilize the industry leading printers that give top quality prints for a below average price point. You do you boo boo, you do you.
How do we know we should hire you?
Before we sign a contract with our clients, we have a sit-down consultation that generally lasts an hour. We ask a TON of questions to try and see what you're looking for in a photography team, what your style is, and if we're a good fit for you. We're not pushy; If you like our photographic style, then we'd love the opportunity to capture memories together.
What kind of gear do you use?
We use professional camera bodies and lenses. Currently we're shooting on a Canon 1DXmkii and a 5Dmkiv with a 70-200mm vii lens and a 50mm prime. We also utilize wide angle lenses and the latest Adobe softwares. We're constantly learning to stay on the edge of new technology.
